How You’ll Engage
As a volunteer, you’ll guide high school students through hands-on learning experiences such as suturing, patient assessment basics and sharing stories from your own career path. Your role is to spark curiosity, answer questions, and provide an honest look at what it means to work in healthcare.
Where You’ll Engage
Simply put, we meet students and educators in their classrooms. This helps reduce barriers to accessing healthcare career education by bringing the knowledge directly to the student. This creates equal opportunity for all students. We garner class participation through the use of small group discussions and interactive demonstrations to foster a comfortable space for learning.
Why Volunteer
Volunteering is more than teaching—it’s shaping the next generation of healthcare providers. Students often walk away with newfound confidence and a clearer sense of direction. Many cite their experiences with us as the spark that ignited their passion for a career in healthcare.
